Weather Eye Live brings weather and weather safety education out to the community with live weather stations and interactive displays. We promote weather observation, weather education, and severe weather safety and preparedness education by letting our visitors get hands on with the weather instruments, making weather observations and EVEN making live weather reports on camera.
Using a range of live interactive activities, public appearances with interactive demonstrations, lectures, and citizen science, Weather Eye Live makes learning about weather and severe weather safety and preparedness fun, compelling, and accessible.

Weather Eye Live in K-12 Schools
Weather education is STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) Education
STEAM education growth rate is increasing exponentially and many schools are struggling to fill requirements. The Weather Eye Live Team visits schools from K-12 to create a day of weather and severe weather safety education.
Weather Eye Live weather education and severe weather safety education curriculum and activities include all aspects of STEAM education providing K-12 schools with tools to stimulate interest in STEAM subjects and create relevant real world illustrations of their application.
A typical in school field trip includes setting up a live weather education station with working weather instruments, real citizen science experiments, hands on weather activities, age appropriate severe weather safety education, weather crafts, weather lessons, and weather safety take home materials and more.

You can learn a little about weather, look at our weather instruments, take some readings, and make your own weather report live on camera for Weather Eye Live TV. Weather Eye Live Teams can join you at your event, school, activity, or other location to teach about weather observing, weather safety, and making live weather reports.
Great for Schools, special events, youth groups, scouting, senior citizens, and homeschool family activities.
For about $3 per person* Weather Eye Live will come to your location and lead a dynamic, fun, and memorable weather experience that teaches about weather and weather safety. *based on 16 participants.
$50 for a 45 minute single presentation which includes hands on weather experiments, crafts, and fun educational take home materials for attendees to keep.
The all day school rate is capped at $300 and will provide a full day’s worth of grade appropriate activities for students in groups of 25.
We come to YOU! No need for permission slips, travel expenses, or time away from school. We’ll bring the weather fun right to you!

Meteorologists and supercomputers work hard to forecast the weather but they need your help to get it right. The more data the computer has the more accurate the forecasting can be. 2015 in Scotland the Weather Eye Live project began as fun weather safety talks at museum and schools. It grew to live weather stations at events and helping community members become citizen scientists in making their weather reports to the MET. Today we continue the mission of weather safety education in Florida.
